To rent a vehicle from Fjord Thicket, you must:
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability. A reservation becomes a binding agreement when we send you a confirmation email containing your booking reference.
Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers for corporate accounts. The total rental cost includes the daily rate, insurance, and any additional services requested.
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices displayed on our website are accurate at the time of viewing but subject to change. Your confirmed booking price will not change unless you modify your reservation.
Booking modifications (date, time, vehicle) can be made up to 4 hours before scheduled pickup at no charge, subject to availability.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of force majeure, vehicle unavailability due to unforeseen circumstances, or customer ineligibility. In such cases, we will offer an alternative vehicle or provide a full refund.
Vehicles may be used for lawful purposes only, within the United Kingdom, and on paved roads unless specifically authorized for off-road use.

All rentals include comprehensive insurance covering third-party liability, theft, and collision damage subject to an excess (typically £500).
Optional excess reduction coverage is available to reduce or eliminate your financial liability in case of damage or theft.
You are responsible for:
Inspect the vehicle carefully before accepting it. Report any damage or concerns immediately. By accepting the vehicle, you acknowledge its condition as documented.
Return the vehicle at the agreed location and time in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level. Late returns without authorization may incur additional charges.
Return the vehicle in a reasonably clean condition. Excessive cleaning requirements may result in additional charges. During rental, check and maintain fluid levels and tire pressure.
In case of accident, theft, or damage:
Additional drivers must be registered and approved before operating the vehicle. They must meet the same eligibility requirements as the primary driver. Unauthorized drivers are not covered by insurance.
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, you will be charged for the missing fuel plus an administration fee. Misfueling (using incorrect fuel type) will result in full recovery and repair costs.
You are responsible for all parking fines, congestion charges, toll fees, and traffic violations incurred during your rental period. We will forward any notices to you and may charge an administration fee for processing.

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or government actions.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint about our services, please contact our customer service team. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any rental agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fjord Thicket regarding your use of our services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
